Configure VideoWall widget features
You can configure the layout of videos on a VideoWall widget, whether to display a video selector, and whether to display controls at the bottom of each video.
If the widget configuration dialog box is not already open, do as follows:
If the widget is on a Grid layout dashboard, click the Menu icon
in the top right-hand corner of the widget and select Settings.If the widget is on a Fluid layout dashboard, on the floating toolbar for the widget, click the Settings icon:

In the widget configuration dialog box, click the Configuration tab.
On the left-hand side, click Features.
Change the settings as required:

Description
Playback
Displays the playback controls to control the replay of the recorded video.
Note
This option is only available if the provider selected in Configure VideoWall widget provider details is N3N or QVMS Bridge.
Information
Displays fields from the dataset for this video.
Note
This option is only available if the provider selected in Configure VideoWall widget provider details is N3N or Kurento.
Full Screen
Displays the camera feed in another tab to view individually.
Note
This option is only available if the provider selected in Configure VideoWall widget provider details is N3N or QVMS Bridge.
Screenshot
Takes a screenshot of the video and downloads it to your computer.
Recording
Starts (and stops) a recording of the video and downloads the recording in WebM format to your computer, for you to view locally.
Default Grid Size
Determines the setting for the Grid Size selector when the widget is first displayed. The values that can be selected in Rows and Columns are as follows:

Show Gridsize
Displays the Grid Size selector in the top right of the widget, which you can use to select how many videos to display on a widget page at a time.
Show Search
Displays a drop-down box in the top left of the widget, which you can use to select which videos to view.
Video-fit
The fitment to the panel of the video displayed. The options are as follows:
Cover - Resizes the video to fit in the panel while maintaining the aspect ratio.
Contain - Displays the video using the original height and width as received from the provider.
Fill - Resizes the video to fit in the panel without maintaining the aspect ratio.
Note
This option is only available if the provider selected in Configure VideoWall widget provider details is Kurento or QVMS Bridge.
Create Event
Provides the ability to create an event from the widget.
Note
This option is only available if the provider selected in Configure VideoWall widget provider details is QVMS Bridge.
Default Domain
The specific default domain to be associated with the created event. It is displayed if Create Event is selected.

This option is only available if the provider selected in Configure VideoWall widget provider details is QVMS Bridge.
Default Event Source
The specific default event source to be associated with the created event. It is displayed if Create Event is selected.
Note
This option is only available if the provider selected in Configure VideoWall widget provider details is QVMS Bridge.
Click Update.
