Configure branding settings

  1. In the top left-hand corner of the main dashboard screen, click the Admin Panel icon: admin_panel_icon.PNG.

  2. On the Admin Panel, click Appearance new_menu_appearance.PNG.

  3. On the Appearance screen, in the menu on the left-hand side of the screen, select Branding.

  4. Modify the settings as required:

    Setting

    Description

    Application Title

    Title of the Quantela platform application. This is displayed at the top of the browser window and/or in the browser tab.

    Note

    It must be 2-25 alphabetic characters only.

    Application Logo

    The logo to be used for the application. This is displayed in the XLS and PDF files when a datagrid widget is exported or in the PDF file attached in the email of a dataset scheduled report. 

    You can upload an image to be used for the application logo by browsing for an image file locally from your system, or you can remove the existing application logo by clicking on the Remove Image icon: custom_data_selector_close.png.

    Note

    • For better performance, the size of the image file should not exceed 500 KB.

    • The recommended size of the image is 160*100 px.

    Login Background

    The image which is displayed on the right half of all the authentication screens.

    You can upload an image to be used on the right half of the authentication screens by browsing for an image file locally from your system, or you can remove the existing login background by clicking on the Remove Image icon:custom_data_selector_close.png .

    Note

    • For better performance, the size of the image file should not exceed 500 KB.

    • The recommended size of the image is 1300*670 px.

    Primary Logo

    The logo shown at the top-left corner of the screen and also which is aligned left and shown above the user name in the Login screen.

    You can upload an image to be used for the primary logo by browsing for an image file locally from your system, or you can remove the existing primary logo by clicking on the Remove Image icon: custom_data_selector_close.png.

    Note

    • For better performance, the size of the image file should not exceed 500 KB.

    • The recommended size of the image is 105*56 px.

    Secondary Logo

    A logo which is aligned right and shown above the user name in the Login screen.

    You can upload an image to be used for a secondary logo by browsing for an image file locally from your system, or you can remove the existing secondary logo by clicking on the Remove Image icon: custom_data_selector_close.png.

    Note

    • For better performance, the size of the image file should not exceed 500 KB.

    • The recommended size of the image is 105*56 px.

    Customer Logo

    The logo of the customer which is shown at the top-left corner of the screen and to the right of the primary logo. You are navigated to the Customer Website URL on clicking it.

    You can upload an image to be used for the customer logo by browsing for an image file locally from your system, or you can remove the existing customer logo by clicking on the Remove Image icon: custom_data_selector_close.png.

    Note

    • For better performance, the size of the image file should not exceed 500 KB.

    • The recommended size of the image is 105*56 px.

    Fav Icon

    An icon displayed next to the Application Title.

    You can upload an image to be used for the favicon of the application by browsing for an image file locally from your system, or you can remove the existing fav icon by clicking on the Remove Image icon: custom_data_selector_close.png.

    Note

    • For better performance, the size of the image file should not exceed 500 KB.

    • The recommended size of the image is 32*32 px and accepts only .ico images.

    Calendar Start Day

    The day of the week which should be the start of the week in a calendar.

    Help

    The online help guide to provide assistance in using the dashboard. You can provide a URL or can upload a PDF locally from your system.

    Note

    • If you upload a PDF, the size of it must be less than 3 MB.

    • If you have the help guide in different languages, you need to give the URL without the /?lang=<HTML language code> so that it changes based on the language selected in the Language drop-down.

    • If you have the help guide only in a specific language, you need to give the URL with the /?lang=<HTML language code>.

    Credits

    You can provide a URL or can upload a PDF locally from your system containing the list of third-party and open-source software licenses used in the dashboard.

    Note

    If you upload a PDF, the size of it must be less than 1 MB.

    Customer Website URL

    The URL for the customer’s website. You are navigated to the customer website URL on clicking the Customer Logo.

    Timezone

    The time zone to be used for all dates and times throughout the dashboard. You can select any one of the time zones from the drop-down menu.

    Time Format

    The time format to be used for all times throughout the dashboard. You can select any one of the time formats from the drop-down menu.

    Date Format

    The date format to be used for all dates throughout the dashboard. You can select any one of the date formats from the drop-down menu.

    Application Background Color

    The background color which is displayed on the right half of all the authentication screens.

  5. Click Save.
