Save a widget as an application widget
When you are happy with the settings of a particular widget, you can save it to re-use, it allows you or other users to use the same configuration on a new widget. It is then added to the category Application Widgets in the Select widget dialog box, from which you add widgets to a dashboard.
If the widget configuration dialog box is not already open, do as follows:
If the widget is on a Grid layout dashboard, click the Menu icon
in the top right-hand corner of the widget and select Settings.If the widget is on a Fluid layout dashboard, on the floating toolbar for the widget, click the Settings icon:

In the widget configuration dialog box, click the Save As tab.
Enter the following information:
Setting
Description
Name
The widget name that will be displayed in the Select widget dialog box and in the title bar of the widget.
Note
It must be 3-35 characters only.
Description
The widget description that will be displayed in the Select widget dialog box and in the title bar of the widget.
Note
It must be 10-150 characters only.
Create/Select Category
The subcategory of application widgets in which the widget will be listed in the Select widget dialog box.
Note
It must be 3-15 characters only.
Domains
The domains under which the widget will be available for adding to a dashboard. Currently, the only option is All.
Click Update.
The widget is added to the Select widget dialog box, on the Application Widgets tab, in the subcategory that you selected.
