Multi-factor authentication is available in two methods namely, Email Authentication and Authenticator App. Follow the below steps to set multi-factor authentication.

1. You can enable either Email Authentication or Authenticator App or both.

2. Depending on the type of authentication selected, configure them as indicated below.

   Email Authentication

   If this is enabled, a verification code will be sent to your email address.

   1. Click the Set up button.

   2. In the Set up your Email dialog, click Next so that a verification code will be sent to that email address.

   3. Enter the verification code that was sent to your email address. In case, you didn't receive it, click Resend.

   4. Click Done.

   Email Authentication will be enabled in your account. The next time you login apart from entering your sign-in credentials, you also need to enter the verification code that is sent to your email address. For more info, see Sign in.Sign in

   If you want to remove this type of authentication, click Delete.

   Authentication App

   If this is enabled, a time based verification code will be sent to your preferred authenticator app.

   1. Click the Set up button.

   2. In the Set up Authenticator App dialog, select an authenticator app by clicking on the App Store or Google Play icons and install it on your respective iPhone/Android phones.

      Note

      Currently, we have tested the Authenticator App settings with Google, Microsoft and LastPass authenticator apps. Ideally, these should work with all the other authenticator apps as well available in the Play Store or App Store.

      After installation, open your authenticator app and scan the barcode that is displayed. If you are unable to scan the barcode, you can alternatively click Can't scan it? and a text will be displayed which you can enter in your authenticator app. If you still prefer to scan a barcode click I'll scan a bar code instead. Click Next so that you can enter the 6-digit verification code that was generated in your authenticator app.

   3. Enter the 6-digit verification code that was generated in your authenticator app.

   4. Click Verify.

   Authentication App authentication will be enabled in your account. The next time you login apart from entering your sign-in credentials, you also need to enter the verification code that is generated in your authenticator app. For more info, see Sign in.Sign in

   If you want to remove this type of authentication, click Delete.

   If you have enabled both Email Authentication and Authenticator App you can select any of them as the primary method of authentication by enabling Set as primary in them. This means that when you login, the verification code will be sent to the type of authentication that has Set as primary enabled.

   Note

   The roles using both the platform and the mobile app, won’t be able to access the mobile app as of now if the multi-factor authentication is enabled for such a user.
